Podolski's been shit for Bayern, on the other hand Alves is a goalscoring machine, i'd say that was bigger news!

33 games 4 goals for the best team in the league

He has been quality in the past though whenever i've seen him for Germany, i had a ten spot on him for top scorer in the world cup as well as Klose.

Liverpool are being linked with a January bid for Real Madrid's former Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze. (Eat SleepFootball.com - 09:22 GMT)

I know but it's the way he went about it that annoyed me. And the way he was desperate to leave even though the fans liked him etc. Fair enough he was sharing starts with Evra but to say right then i wanna go to liverpool, bit twatish imo

I like Defoe, just hes the most likely to go!

I dont mind Berb going as long as we get a decent amount for him

Burnley rejected 1.5mill bid from Charlton for leading scorer Andy Gray, be fucking livid if we sell him for under 2.5 - STILL being heavily linked with Robson and Riordan, and Glen Whelan who we had a 400k bid rejected for, wish we'd hurry and sign someone.

Murphys signed from Hibs for Birmingham tonight for 2 million, they've had a 5.5 million bid for James McFadden accepted and he's discussing personal terms there just now. Cousin is fancied by Fulham but the fact Darcheville is suspended for 3 matches in Europe will hamper any move.

Apparently we've to look out for the last 5 days as far as the Old Firm and Hibs are concerned as they'll be very busy.

He's sitting in a Birmingham board room just now with Willie McKay

I wouldn't even pay half of that for him tbh, he's put in a few good performances for Scotland and thats it. His Premiership form has been sketchy to say the least!
