He needs a decent club to get him back to his best. I still think with regular football in his correct position he'll be a dependable 10 goals a season man.

Thats why he left. R&D couldnt really afford to keep him. Plus he is a massive Luton fan, as are his entire family. Make us proud Andy

Also rumoured to be signing Mark Tyler from Posh. Yes please!! He's an excellent keeper.

I think you need a specialist holding midfielder before anything else, but IMO Zola has done a right job with the resources he has, a candidate for manager of the second half of the season for me.

BBC Sport says we may pay £25.5m for Tevez.

Bargain if we do imo.

Good keeper whos been released from Birmingham, Athur Krysiak(sp), came on loan to us last season and he was insanely good, only 19/20 i think too. I wouldn't mind him back but no point when we have super Micheal Ingham who's more than good enough for this league.

Rumors are Foyle is looking at 2 more "quality" conference players to sign.

Id say the current Luton board is taking all the right steps to ensure the club has a bright future.

Sounds good to me

Let 5 go too. Parkin, McVeigh, Morgan, Davis, and Brill. Sad to see Sol Davis go, but he can't offer much anymore, so sadly he has to make way.

That'll free up some serious cash on the wages.

Your definitely signing the right type of players Nath. Quick pacy wingers can destroy some conference defences which tend to be all about brute strength so they lack pace.

Off topic, but I'm not starting a Luton thread, we've sold 2k season tickets so far. Over 400 of which are from new applicants. Boo yeh! The futures bright, the future is white/black/orange.

Not bad that, think you've got a lot of sypathetic (not meaning to sound offensive there) with what happened to you last season, most folk will want you to bounce straight back.

Back on Topic - We've let my fav player Andy Holdsworth leave Not the best player in our squad by a long way, but always gives 100% and he scored the goal to give us our first win over L**ds for 22 years. Jon Worhtington has also signed for Oldham, another acedemy lad who has put a shift in for us over the years, again not the best but gave 100% each week. Bit sad in a way as we have lost the majority our "home grown" players from a few seasons back when we used to play with 7/8 that had come through the academy, but over the last few years they've stalled a little and I think its best they left for thier own careers.

What this does mean however, is that looking at the squad we only have around 12 players that i'd be comfortable playing in a first team game. Hope Lee Clark has some players lined up to plug the gaps

Valencia is not as good as he's made out to be But Benzema is immense

Nani has been a complete flop, and Kuzsczak is average at best, but Park has been a good player for United. Barca was the first bad game I've seen of him in a LONG time.
