well i had to walk 2 miles to then get a lift from one of the guys who managed to get their car out. Mine is staying at home, tucked up on the drive.
not sure how im getting home from work just yet lol
have heard that we are meant to get another 4-5 inches of snow today so there will be no hope of getting my car out for a while yet
i wish they would let me have the VPN access to work from home. I really wouldnt mind that

Nope, I've only driven it once in the last two weeks cos of the weather, and that was only to nip to the cash point when a delivery man came with a charge for me to pay!

You lot have got sod all compared with us here, I cannot believe what I've just seen when I opened the blinds.
Pics in a minute just having a shower.
Was none of the center gritted or anything?
Kings Road and London road were jokes, i followed a range rover in its tracks so was alright. The a329m was bad too, saw a silver vx220 in the ditch just off the carriageway (heading out of reading).
They don't grit, got to many parents living on the social to worry about. I work on the Kings Road, hence why I never even attempted to drive out of Tilehurst this morning as I have to go down hills and back up them in the evening. It won't clear either, I think our two days contribution this week will be our lot.

Thats how i feel... I want a proper day off...
my internet connection keeps dropping... but we have office instant messaging etc, so people can see when you're connected or not! So if I wasn't on my work laptop now and vpn'd in, then people would know i was bunking off
- That said... I may take a 'long lunch' and if anyone calls me during it, i'll say I've just gone on lunch lol. Then later on in the afternoon I'll just claim i was having a big toilet break

where's st johns church? is it on the highstreet?
nah, fuck driving in this... The roads in crowthorne are always pretty shitty and slippery... Coming home yesterday in the blizzard, I had the car in 4th gear... was at like 1,000 rpm and it still went completely sideways, I was crabbing all the way down the road.
- Gonna go for a run around the heathland with my camera at 'lunch time' - could be cool.

its near the fire station.
crowthorne looked like a crazy village this morning, what with the snow man in the middle of the road, the somerfields lorry trying to make it way to the store, and then someone riding there motor bike through the village

You probably watched the same somerfield lorry as I did lol. It was proper struggling... then finally made it to co-op to drop some stuff off.

Looks like you Berkshire people have had it hardest then! Just been out for a walk round the fields near mine - 6.5 inches on average, deepest was 8. Still falling pretty heavily too. Couple of pics:
And the rest if you're bothered. Only taken on my BB as not taking the camera out! http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9903&id=1719886572&l=a026d5655f
