No but I did ride a yamaha 125cc the other days, that was a nice ride. oh and I went on a 50cc moped too lol that was hilarious not having to do anything (gears and clutch lol).

You need a bike license then, not a CBT. Do your DAS

About £400 for lessons and test all in all

GF, please dont listen to Root, you cannot drive without L plates and carry pilion (sp?) passengers, I'm sure Russ or someone else has relayed this more than once.

I thought it was a new law introduced that you don't have to display L's and can carry pillions (providing you're insured to do so), if you have a full car license..been told by several people it is

No problem GF-91. What Yamaha was it that you rode? That's a good price that is for a CBT.

Ah, so there was some truth in what I was saying I'm glad then, cus my scooter's reg'ed as a 50cc (bored to 70 :x) so all's good

if you passed your car licence before 2001 you get full moped licence which means no L plates and can carry passenger. just go on dvla and it tells you.

yeah that's for people before 2001. This other thing is for full car license holders after 01. After 01 = no Ls on 50s, but have to do CBT every 2 years

Not sure. All I know is it was a 125 and it was a yamaha on an 07 plate lol. Oh and it was black. Lol.

Theory £31
mod 1 £15.50
mod2 £75 or £88.50 evenings/weekend
lessons £40/h

Even though I had been driving for years and had loads of field/motocross bikes growing up I still shat myself when I picked up my 125 and drove it through the city centre for my first ride
