as alex said, 20 month ban, £250 fine inc court costs, and 100 hours community service.
tbh I recon I got off lightly.
Has taught me a lesson, not to be a fcking druken twat!!
if I do the drink driving course I can be back on the road by Aug next year
this infuriates me. i dont know how many know it but im currently on a 36 month ban for dd, and my fine was £400 not including costs (i lost my job and livelyhood as a result). my breath reading was 36 at roadside and 41 in the station, id had 3 pints over quite a few hours. you were actually pissed and stole a fucking car, proof the system is flawed.
How the hell did you get 36 months?? I also got banned 2 months ago for 12 months for blowing 60 and got £200 fine. Just booked and paid for the rehabilitation course today which knocks it down to 9 months

Was just going to say this, your Magistrate must have been in a bad mood to give you a 36 month ban for being just over the limit, that's way above the sentencing guidelines.

Why the fcuk do people even think about booze and cars at the same time?
Are you that socially inept that you cannot enjoy socialising without alcohol?! If you are driving them just don't have a drink. Not exactly a hard thing to do!

You've never driven the day after the night before?

Can honestly no. If I am driving the day after then I would never think about it within 12 hours of my last drink and a meal assuming I had only drunk a moderate amount.
If I was planning on drinking a skin full then I would tend to do it on a day I knew I had nothing planned the next day as I am a write off anyway

I can agree with that now I'm a bit older but can you honestly say hand on heart, you didn't ever drive the following morning when you were 17/18 and going out on the lash, foot loose and fancy free?

No mate, never. I hardly drink anyway, which might have something to do with it though

Got my flame suit ready, but it wasn't the first time. Got done when I was 17 on a morning after job. Driving to college on a Friday morning after I'd been out the night before. Was around Christmas so they were doing spot necks on the roads. Was a pulls of weeks away from it being long enough to not be considered in my sentencing.
It's cost me a lot and I've learned from it now, I think the wort thing is the rehab course because if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have driven at all after a drink, that taught me how to count my units and work out if I'm "safe" to drive

I can bet most people bleating about it in here have never been "foot loose and fancy free"
Im suprised how many people on here have been done for it, Im not suprised how many people on here have done it. Ive seen a convoy of us from here doing it a few times on the way from the hotel to Trax
