ive already said i dont know much about it because i dont care. but the reasons given for hating her seem over the top or out of her control. necessities to keep the country running smoothly. but i know fuck all about politics.
If the miners were that much of a drain on the country what then are the 'financial services' industry which she completely de-regulated whilst destroying more of Britain's manufacturing industry than the Luftwaffe?
The very response I'd expect from a guy 'at Uni' that doesn't understand why people hate Thatcher or know anything about politics.

Wonder what the council house owners thought when they were given the chance to buy their homes.
Looking after the rich n all that.
As for miners, sure, people were put out, but unfortunately when deciding whats better, the minority, or the majority, she chose the right decision.
She screwed up on many things sure, but please point me out a political party that hasn't in some way?
Overall total, she done a good job, saved the UK at the time, and fair play. But its good to see the ol girl still sparks debate, something she was always good at
Carry on old chaps.

Thatcher merely relaxed the regulations to help foriegn investors get their foot in the door as there was sod all local money.. It was Gordon brown who deregulated the financial sector.

Over £8.5k in getting it to number one in itunes chart and the radio stations have said they wont play it.
Is it worse than RATM?
Its all got a bit out of hand. Ive always thought she was a cunt. I was born in 81, she took my free milk, she shut our mines, but she didnt have a massive direct impact on me.

I was born in 87 and my milk wasn't free. It was a bankruptcy threatening 25p a week.

By far the most shocking thing about this thread is that you only need to sell 10000 songs to be at number 1.
