Its the European way though, the manager controls the players who are bought for him. He's a head coach more than anything else now

Should be a joint decision between Manager and the Chief Exec imo. Otherwise you end up with players the manager doesn't like/want.

I never said it was the right way, but its the European way.

Apparently he completed more dribbles in the CL than any other player. That'll probably be the stat they picked up on, its all stat based with chief execs and scouts these days.

Massively overpriced BTW too

£22m + Wages. No idea on if he is worth that, got to have faith in TB but I would rather than manager chose the players as others have stated rather than been a glorified Chelsea but with X amount of people picking them rather than one
