Women in Back - 6/10 - Alright film, few jumpy bits. Worth watching but i didn't think it was brilliant.

A Fantastic Fear of Everything - 5/10 - Odd! It had a few good/decent scenes and a handful of decent comical lines but the story slipped to awful/awkward towards the end. Worth watching? Not sure, depends how much of a Pegg fan you are. Although he does play the character well.

Man on a Ledge - 6.5/10 - A typical mindless no-thinking-required watch. Could have been a lot lot better, but again could have a been a lot worse.

Faster 6/10

Quite amusing to watch a roided up dwayne johnson steaming around the place blatantly popping people in front of witnesses and on CCTV without a care

Other then that a very silly film but enjoyable none the less.

John Carter 6.5/10

I had zero expectations for this as missed all the Hype for it, had not read any reviews etc. All that I knew was that it was a flop for disney. It kind of had elements of nearly every popular sci-fi and action film thrown in, felt like it had all been done before ie nothing new or fresh.

Felt a bit star wars episode 1 and 2 in places and that is not a good thing. Visually impressive and even though the plot jumped all over the place I did find it quite enjoyable. Probably would have been a bit pissed if I had forked out to see it in IMAX.

I watched all three original films and enjoyed them.

Wish I could find all the old foreign films Ch4 used to show late at night when I was still at school. Most of them were great but I can't remember what the fuck.

Noomi Rapace with her clothes off is hardly wank material. Looks like something out of a concentration camp.
Her acting in that film is fucking brilliant though!

Shame the two sequels are a disaster. They couldn't afford the same team of Danes that directed / screenplayed the first so they ended up with two piles of Swedish junk. What an embarrassment to Scandinavia they are those Swedes...

It isn't that bad Farrell is pretty shite at the accent though.

Marc - Yet to see 22 Rounds; be interesting to hear what you think. Still got the second part of Mesrine to watch.

I didn't think Mestine Pt2 was as good, but part 2 is all about his decline.

God Bless America - 6/10

Guy goes on a killing spree and starts offing people he think contribute negatively to the world.
Pretty entertaining and I don't think anyone can say they haven't fantasised about killing off all the morons of the world.
The morality of the film however is pretty flawed and somewhat muddled.

Man on a ledge - 7/10. It would have probably been 6 if it wasn't for Genesis Rodriguez in her underwear.

We went to watch Moonrise Kingdom tonight, I really liked it 8/10. Im a bit of a Wes Anderson fan though

I think where we watched it added to the film as well, it would have been fairly average in a big cinema but we watched it in screen 3 at Cornerhouse in Manchester which is a very small, only about 20-30 seats.

It flopped because it is not actually 'that' good. You don't understand this because you like it maybe

Agree re the ending.

Overall I enjoyed this but I thought it could have been so much more with both reynolds and Denzzzzel starring.

It felt very Jason Bourne in places and did not really bring anything new to the table.

One of those glad I downloaded it and didn't pay at the Cinema

Chernobyl diaries - 3/10 and the 3 rating is because of the setting of it. Film is shite, getting really sick of these low budget hand held camera style films. Film itself is awful, boring not remotely scary then ends.
