It just completsly changes the look of the car and in itself, makes it stand out.

The colour is beautiful when all cleaned up.

Anyway, wheres the pics?

Bought a proper diagnostic cable and software the other day (INPA, SSS or something). The plan is to get the airbag light switched off, hopefully!

Handy to have anyway as you can code things, providing I can translate from German.

Only problem is it takes hours to install the programs!!! Been sitting here 2 hours already

I don't think that's working mate

In over ten years of working in I.T nothing has ever taken two hours to install

My brother had some BMW software for turning off lights and making config changes, no idea what it was called though...

It has about 6 different programs on which is probably why it took so long. Also didn't help that windows decided to update after a system restart.

Anyway, plugged it into the OBD port and went through the safety modules reading and clearing errors. Eventually I cleared an error that had been detected 4 times and the light finally went off, after 8 months of being on

Hoping it stays off now! Well worth the £27!

Worthy investment that Ben!

Be warned though, I now seem to be responsible for all BMW and Mini diagnostics amongst friends and colleagues.... Permanently asking me to do stuff!

I'm not particularly interested in roof down driving anymore mate. Hardtop looks better.

Thinking about getting my lm-r's done in gloss black There are obviously matte black, but I like the look of them and i'm not particularly concerned with having shiny dishes anymore.

I've had 2year 6months of it. Can't believe I've owned it that long already!
Your z definately needs some love tho. It looks unkept especially with the black wheels
Have your rear lights faded again?

No mate, put my camera in manual mode and it must fade out the red balance and the focus in front has pink lights aswell

The car does need some loving. Tyres are ready to go on the wheels, but I have no time nor vehicle to get them to the refubishers at the moment. Bodywork will hopefully be getting sorted during my shutdown in a month.

Its different strokes for different folks i just think the black wheel thing has been done to death even if it does look good. I thought the wheels in standard colour really complimented the car and brought the paintwork in too - black will make them look smaller too imo

Black looks bigger I reckon coz you can't see where the rim and tyre meet as obviously, you loose the detail of the wheel though as black from a distance doesn't stand out as much, black wheels on dark grey is a win imo
