When I was in Florida on holiday as a wee guy I was fishing at the side of a big pond wearing a pair of swimming shorts and sandals. I cast out the rod then felt a burning sensation going over my foot. I looked down to find out that I'd stood directly on top of a fire ant's nest and had about 20 of them crawling all over my fucking foot

I shat myself big time and ran up to the villa we were staying in about 30yds away and dunked my foot in a big puddle in a bit fo plastic. There was actually one of the wee fuckers still holding on with its pincers, I'm sure I've actually got scars from the bastards.
