well i've had enough of it the engine that is, its going because im just sick and tired of fixing problems on a shit engine if i had a good engine i wouldn't care if it had problems haha so im saving for its 4th engine

i'd keep with the 16v, just make sure you buy a good one, what are you like at rebuilding an engine?

don't know yet haha but i refuse to spend more on this engine, most likely keeping with the 16v

these came today:
a pair of 2.0l calipers,disc's and pads, the pads look new and the disc's are in very good condition

only update is i've fitted the brakes but i have had to sacrifice front wheel weights haha

won't be any updates for a while as im going to do 1 massive update once its all running mint with its new engine. i've ordered a few new things which should be here in a few days which i will update once fitted along with the engine update

im putting a deposit on the engine end of the month then picking it up when i get paid at the end of next month, im planning on around 2/3 days for the conversion as im lazy at stripping things down haha plus theres no rush

the full list of problems from my current and dying engine is as following:

tappets/lifters
stem seals
headgasket
piston rings
crank seals

oh and its decided to rev on its own

its like driving an auto as i only use 2 pedals lmao
