Are those 'vents' beneath the headlights fake too?

I think so, same as the side part on the grill. Only the centre has holes to allow air into the IC.
I guess there like that because the lights dont need air vents

Intercooler isn't central either.
What a disaster of a car, from a styling point of view
If that was something someone had done in their garage with bits from Halfords, it would get ripped apart, but because it's a Ford, people will still love it.

Yes Ol
That said, if it had a live axle i'd almost be willing to put up with that much ugly.
Actually, no, fuck it, I wouldn't.
Please disregard my last transmission.

It's so frustrating - they're almost there... they just need to refine a few bits and it'll look awesome.
Headlights need to be angular not a mix of curve and angles.
Front grill needs the large honeycome sections taken out.
Need to swap the wing mirrors to a sweeping version fitted further front.
The black lip on the bonnet needs to go.
The rear bumper needs to come further down before the areo rally slag one blends in.
Smoke the rear lights (all of them)
Shorten the spoiler by about 2inch.
Replace some of the plastic under the bonnet parts to chrome, etc.
Other than that I like it... but prefer the Evo.

The previous RS looked nice, the lines flowed, it looked smooth and aerodynamic, just genrally a nicely styled car.
What the heck have they done to this. The wheels dont even look as they they belong to the car, something bought from demon tweeks for loads of money but look naff!
What have you done ford!

I still think it looks great.
The spoiler is just a very toned down version of the Focus WRC Spoiler. Of course its going to look a little wild. If it just had a subtle little spoiler, then the car would look unbalanced.

I think it looks wrong, too small, the wrong shape, the wrong colour and in the wrong place.

So what shape, colour and poisition would you have put it?
The reason its black is because part of the design is to have bits of "piano black" details on the car. The spoiler, the front of the bonnet, the grill in the front bumper, the rear bumper and the mirrors. It adds contrast to the car and in my opinion, it makes it look more interesting.

There was talk that one of the pre production cars (test car?) had blown up its engine & it had been traced back to a faulty piston liner thingy ma-bob & it may delay production. However its not been mentioned much so im guessing its either ok..................or been brushed under the carpet
