if you only took 2 for example, it wouldnt be a smooth vacuum. it would be pulsed which would cause issues for map sensors etc. take one off all 4, smoothes it out.

ah so taking vacs from all 4, gives a more accurate vacuum, so that map sensor knows exactly what pressures in the manifold? as oposed to taking it from 2, and it been un-accruate?

made screamer pipe
front end virtually back together. need to get a couple boost pipes alloy welded.
tb's etc all bolted up
tried to fire it up, battery flat and not enough life in the battery that were trying to jump it off.
get to my mates house, eating some domino's pizza and get a phone call saying its alive. barking away a bit without the plenum on as tb's need balanced etc. still bits to sort, but its alive again.

no not really. once you get into to it and understand it, its actually just time consuming rather than complex. this is why i pay professionals really. i can do basic mapping to get stuff to run. but its a bit too costly car to be playing about with on my own......
rolling roads are great for that.

Got ya. Suppose once it pairs with everything and reads it correctly its just about getting it to copy and read info exactly how you want it to? Got to admire your work here though Nic, regardless of how much it makes.

well programmeable ecu's are very adaptable. nice to be able to bin stuff like the air flow meter etc, hot start valve and other garbage the std ecu uses.
from what i gather as id gone home before it actually fired up, that it needed a bit of adjustment to get it to run. also the tb's needed balanced. but it runs which is a nice thing. been 3 months since it last fired up.
im hoping to go down do some more work on it on tuesday night. get the bumper on, fit the boost pipes if theyve been alloy welded etc. get it booked in for mapping.
id move if there were some respectably paid jobs for lazy people who like to do as little as possible and earn as much as possible? im a reliable worker. always reliably 5-10 minutes late every day.

Great stuff. Any chance of seeing it at any events this year? Have my old job as photo porcessor. All I did was read magazines, eat biscuits and play pranks on customers. Super lazy ass job but shit pay

yeah, its got a lot more complex over the years. once everything is actually back together it should look fairly neat aswell im hoping. only really the vacuum block to do. but johnathan from rolling road found something that would maybe work without making anything.
