I want a manifold similar to nicks as that fits the corsa really nice. Says he will have the exhaust manifold done soon after i have him a turbo to use for mockups!

not that much more progress, got all gears put mack on mainshaft just need to press bearing on



new driveshaft seals


got input shaft bearing nocked out, just ready for new one to be pressed in

well ive had abit of a gaerbox casing fail lol

whils trying to pull out the mainshaft outer race from the casing this happened

so now i need another f20

but on the plus side all cluster is built back up

i have a f16 casing but cant use it as the bearing races are different sizes

think i mite have found another f20 now anyways

well i got another f20


stripped it down and cleaned it up with petrol


gave it a quick paint with hammerite


then put it all back together with new gaskets and seals etc


so thats a good job outa the way

yeah it was nice to know everything was sound and ready for racing !

for those who dont know i bought a dolly end of last year and yesterday i gave it a trial run to make sure everything was ok as racing is approaching fast!

can you get on and off with the bumper still on no dramas? thats the only thing i dont like abut mine, have to remove bumper.

yes get on and off with bumper still on. dont think green nova will go on though, will need couple bits of wood to make it a bit less steep, just chuck couple bits in boot of pug and it will be happy

and goodridge in line oil filter for turbo

well lasnite i went into the garage with the head and stem seals thinking id have them popped in in no time, just a socket with extension and tap with a hammer...... easy

how wrong was i, there a complete fucking cunt to do as i found out!


fucked a few seals then gave up!


then tonight after speaking to a mate of mine thats a mechanic he suggested i try this setup, just put end of screwdriver down the guide to locate then push on hard


worked a treat ken




just gotta wait for some new seals to arrive then i can get it finished, might get on with painting and fitting new core plugs to the block
