They were sent when I was single but Laura wasn't happy with me being friends with people who'd sent me those types of comments

Well Will's comments at PVS last year were something along the lines of
"Lou reckons your much fitter in real life than pictures, she FUCKING LOVES IT MATE!"
And the U2Us were when I got home

matt, piece of piss. just put xp on then share a folder that contains all the media. then you can just open any of the media in that folder on any machine on the same network. no logging in or anything needed. if you want it somewhere out of the way either make it wireless or better again just lash a network cable to it

and to make it run even smoother, perhaps a gigabit network

yeh no network set up atm so that would need to be done, and probably wireless just for ease of running cables through the house .
whats a gigabit network
will have to look into it more when the parents come to swap to a laptop. *needs the old pc to 'break' again soon*

a network that allows a transfer rate of a gigabit per second rather than 10/100mbps. ie quicker
the standard for wireless i think is 54mbps but this drops over distance from the access point. there are some that'll do 108mbps too

a wireless router, and a wireless card in each computer you want to have access to the web, or the media or whatever
