Bit of an update then lads as im preping for Brands hatch for the 3rd round of the time attack series.

Had to buy a new starter motor as the 1 on the car decided to die lol

Finally managed to sort my hubs out, got them from Harry Hockley in the end and they came next day.

F20 (cav) drive flanges with golf syncro bearings and machined late knuckles £465 delivered

And also bought a brand new set of r888's GG compound, these wernt cheap either

Lots to do the before 8th of July so will keep you lot posted.

Right then people, been busy making sure the car is all up to spec and that every regulation is passed for my entry so not alot of pics yet.

Filled in the entry forms and sent them off.

Heres a cheeky pic of my trumpets on show while i was cleaning my filter

And my second set of MO's came back from being powdercoated in fresh white

Got my new tires fitted and balanced up, then fitted nice new orange Compomotive stickers

More pics up soon, still bits and bobs to do

Yea was hoping to go but didn't make it due to being on call and had a problem with the hub again anyway. Will be at trax yes, not decided weather to go on track or not yet.

Right then people been busy doing odd jobs on the corsa so its all ready.

Firstly ive re-located my plate and cut some holes in the front bumper (with mesh) to get plenty of air to the rad. Sun strip also removed ready for new screen to be fitted.

New screen was then fitted, basically old 1 had a good foot long horizontal crack along the middle and wouldnt of passed scrutineering.

Took this shot also, edited with instagram which is pretty cool. Add me on there ' n13lxb '

Its very nearly ready for the weekend, is booked in for tracking and corner weighting on wed eve then its just all the Time Attack decals to put on it aswell as a few stickers ive collected

Looks awesome! Love the fact its going to be a clean time attack car not like some you see, have scratches and bits hanging off etc.

Gates open at 9.00am then track action starts from about 9.30, theres loads on all day, drifting, trucks, civic cup, show cars and so on.

yes you can walk around the paddock/pit garages but your just not allowed on the pit lane or pit wall

Sticker pack arrived earlier this week so ive fitted that. All the stickers have to be fitted in allocated spots so some look better than others lol.

And then this evening the car went to get fully set up. Tracking, toe in/ toe out, camber, and corner weighting. This was all done by a bloke my dad knows and his son who have both been racing for years and won many tropheys etc, therefore i have been told to keep all set up's quiet so thats what im going to do

Took the car for a quick drive after and im really happy with it, nice and positive. Thats the car 100% prepped for the weekend so i can now chill until then.
