Wolves..get in there

Thought they would equalise in injury time; when unsuprisingly 5mins extra went up. Typical. And Neville should of been sent off! Arsenal next up!

Having watched the Arsenal highlights, the ref WAS shocking. Best was NOT offside for his goal. RVP was though, so wtf are the gooners clinging to in here?

2nd peno was well dodgy, but as you rightly say, best wasnt offside, so swings and roundabouts really.

Forever in Spurs shadow.

From what I gather with the second peno... Rosicky came in with both hands on the lad and it looks like he pushed him from the linesman's pov, which is the only reason I can see that being given. Either way, decisions evened themselves out. Arsenal did not deserve the win.

Barton did well not to retaliate to Diaby being a thug. A couple of seasons ago he would of reacted and been sent off as well

I noticed that also, was thinking how he would have turned around and stabbed his eyes out, then done a few lines of coke. Seems to be able to control himself better now. Fair play.

I've been thinking exactly that... but then you have to remember they're Arsenal... the whole club is the same; the manager, the players and the fans. Whinge and complain when they don't get their own way.

Nolan should have been sent off for violent conduct. If Diaby went, so should he. End of.

Gained a point on Utd. Successful day IMO.

And always will PMSL at the comments from some on here lol.

Bandwagons. Get off them.

diaby blew up because of his injuries to those sort of challenges in the past.

arsenal fans will look at it as a point gained towards utd, but really is 2 points dropped..

We played shite. It was always going to be a team you wouldn't expect that beat us Fair play Wolves outplayed us and deserved it

Least with Arsenal getting pegged back its not really changed things too much, just a shame we couldn't take the 3 points and put even more space between us!

Yeah. No excuse from diaby but he's had two serious injuries from very similar tackles so sort of understand it.

But was he injured from it? No.

It was a strong challenge from Barton but it wasn't malicious and no intent to injure him. Maybe Diaby should put in a request to the FA and ask for no tackling.

I'm being serious. I perhaps shouldn't of aimed that at Diaby. I see week in week out players rolling on the floor like they've been tackled by a rhino when it has been the slightest of touches. I thought this was meant to be a man's game?

Was watching some old highlights of York v Tottenham from 1955 the other day. Rock hard frozen pitch and tackles flying in everywhere, none of which were given as free kicks

Football is pretty soft these days

Due to players diving, feigning injury, wearing slippers as boots, the games being twice as quick etc etc.

That's why I like rugby union. Players kick the shit out of eachother for 80 mins then shake hands at the end and have a pint. Fans stand together mixed up and have a bit of banter but no troubles.

Mixed fans would be a bad idea. Seriously, ive experience it in football and it would be awful for the atmosphere at games. Truly awful.

Suppose you wouldnt notice a difference at Arsenal though

Yeah. Not suggesting it could ever work in football.
