Depends what you like.
If you prefer X-men over Dark Knight, then choose Spiderman.
Spiderman is more colorful and upbeat, Rises has a much deeper story.

Just got in from watching it.
Think I need to watch it at home, I always find the cinema too load. So I couldn't understand Bane half of the time.
Ah the joys of shit hearing. Still think the last one was better.

Just back from seeing it. Good film but not a patch on The Dark Knight.
The Joker in The Dark Knight will be almost impossible to beat for psycho, delusional bad guy imo. Bane looked and sounded great but majorly lacked character.
Dragged a bit in the middle as well, which having spoke to a few people, is a common criticism.

Saw it tonight 9/10
Very Impressed and only has a few issues with it.
Heath ledger made the TDK all that more special though. So the devious dim remains my favourite but only just.

Question time.
In the movie Talia/Miranda was born in the pit and that she escaped with Bane looking after her.
However before Bane breaks Brucies back he said Ah you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!
Does that mean he was lying or that there was two people born in the pit but only talia was the only one to escape?

The dark could be anything, sounds more like it means he was born into that sort of life than being born into literal darkness.

From what I remember, the movie doesn't tell where Bane was born nor how old he was, when Talia escaped.
We see his face, that he is already quite big and a skilled fighter when Talia escaped. From this I concluded that Bane had not necessarily spent long in the pit before the incident.
All we are told of Banes upbringing is what you posted above. Whether he means litteral darkness is up to the viewer to decide.

according to the comics he was born to serve his fathers life sentence, and spent his childhood and early adult life in prison before escaping

Went to see this with a few mates, and last night I went with the same mates to see Ted. One of my mates didn't go to DKR but was there last night. So he was asking about DKR and if it was any good. He asked if there was any action right from the start. To which another mate said, 'na it was boring'. So I chirped up with, 'except for the plane getting torn apart in mid air you mean?'. FFS, I need new mates. I swear some people go into these films wanting to dislike it because of the hype.

How so? RT is just a mixture of critic and user reviews, don't see how that's much different?

Are there any notable films that IMDb likes but RT doesn't? And vice versa? Out of curiousity.

RT lists Godfather at 100% and Shawshank Redemption at 90%.
That's quite a gap, considering they're more or less equal on IMDb.

I refuse to watch a film unless I have consulted a Danish guy off of Corsasport.
