if it was microsoft everyone would agree. but because its apple people seem to hate.
apple have been the reason most of use a rectangular phone with a large touchscreen, as few buttons as possible and an app store and the reason every company makes a tablet

This thread wouldn't have turned into 12 pages of justifying Steve Jobs and Apples success, the same as every other Apple related thread, if they were as shit as the haters are making out.

people always leave messages, be it at the scene of an accident or on facebook etc. the apple stores are as appropriate as anywhere else i imagine.

But you have to agree that half these people are only acting up because they genuinely believe the iPhone they own is a revolutionary invention

Because people only get one life in this world and only a handful of them actually achieve incredible success and happiness doing the thing they love.
Its even more impressive when these same people come from nothing to achieving the things they do through pure believe in themselves and passion alone.
For this reason they generate respect, admiration and status through being true examples of living life to the full (allbeit a shortened one for Jobs).

I respect the guy, obviously a brilliant character, but i can still see past the hype and people trying to claim hes on the same level as some of the ridiculous comparisons that have been made today

To some he's is a modern day 'Einstein' as a result of the things he bought to this world that ultimately improved peoples quality of life in turn making people feel better about themselves. (regardless of how controversial those things are)
He was able to harness his mind, and his passion and use that to make others happy. In that respect he is better than Einstein as you don't see many people smiling when a light bulb comes on.

You are aware that Einstein didn't invent the lightbulb either?

Contrary to popular belief yes (I've also read this thread)
p.s. I never said Job's 'invented' anything. He didn't need to, everything he needed to make him successful already existed, which makes it even more genius.

If you think Edison invented light produced from electricity, or the lightbulb, you are getting mixed up.. he took an idea.. and made it better
