Fernandinho to City has more than a whiff of Danny to Zenit about it.

£30m for a player who has spent 8 years on Ukraine, who is 28 and only has 5 national caps. Not quite Andy Carroll mental but close!

Since advertising on shirts apparently works so well i'll definitely be flying Emirates everywhere I go now, after getting all my insurance sorted out with Aon and eating my Mornflake oats anyway... (Crewe's sponsor)

(Random rant because of the clubs that think having Wonga on their shirts will make everyone in the area get payday loans)

I agree I would rather have a player of the caliber of Henderson

You would have to agree though, despite him being a quality player that folk are probably under rating because they see little of him, he isn't worth £30 million in the exact same way Danny wasn't when Zenit spent that on him. That was found out to dodgy and it wouldn't surprise me if this were the same.

Boom

Obviously shipping out Alonso to try and accommodate Barry and then not even getting him is a good move too

A shocking piece of business.

Fair enough Man Utd paid out a fortune on van Persie last summer, but he won them the league.

City have paid £30 million for a 28 year old who can't get into what is realistically a poor Brazil side.

Shaktar are laughing
Agents are Laughing
The player is laughing
Fans of other clubs are laughing

Man City, a classless laughing stock of English Football

Sums it up tbh
