As an Arsenal fan today will either be epic or bitterly disappointing. Im thinking the latter.

Graham Hunter reckons that a 47m euro deal was done with Arsenal for Ozil, but he couldn't agree terms and will likely stay at Madrid unless utd come in

If we reach 11pm with just Remy on board, what was the point in Joke Kinnear? It's a fucking farce.

Of course, he's an excellent player to sign just because he's fucking brilliant really. But going forward isn't Arsenal's concern. It's the lack of a truly great CDM that could bite them in the arse. Flamini is a decent signing, but is he enough?
we do need more creativity, ive said that from the start but it was lowest priority afetr GK, CB, CDM and ST

For other peoples amusement.
Newcastle need either someone with billions or someone with a proper business head. Everything is place for a succesful team.

Seems the money Ozil wants would break arsenals strict wage structure. Obviously so long as it's not ludicrous they'd be stupid not to bend the rules just this once.

I'd be content with Fellaini and Ozil.
If we got Fellaini and Baines I'd be a bit disappointed but I'm willing to be proved wrong over the season. Just don't like the idea that Moyes might be doing a Roy Keane/Mark Hughes and just signing within his comfort zone.

Ozil will be in out and shaking it all about all day.
Edit to say he was always going to be too good of a player for this to be a simple deal for whoeevr gets him. Clear he doesnt really want to leave Real in any case

Ridiculous that we've got to the last day and still no signings. I'm not 100% convinced we'll sign anyone either. It's all getting a bit embarrassing.
