Only problem with that one is Schalke have an injury crisis at the minute so despite signing Prince-Boateng they are short of numbers middle to front.
He would be a fantastic signing though, you would never know he was 19 when you watch him play.

wengers logic i guess is that we need more creativity (esp with Wilsh still struggling) and if he cant get iun a top top striker, go for the next best option - the guy with the most assists in europe to supply the 2nd most potent front lien from last season albeit shorn of poldi for 3 months

Amazing deal for Arsenal, paying the money but in return getting a world class player. Apparently the deal has been done since Friday but Madrid didn't want to upset spurs
I'd be very happy with Fellaini and one more midfielder. I'd also really like Baines at the club. We don't need him but he will definitely be a brilliant signing.

Yep supposedly Gazidi flew to madrid Friday to agree the deal, and it was agreed that both parties would keep quiet to keep Spuds happy. Ozil had weekend to decide on move.
Still expecting to get gazumped on wages by someone though.

Now SSN are reporting we are in advanced talks (the new "so and so have stopped taking bets", it seems) for di Maria too. COnvicned we would only sign one of them as otherwise we are overloaded up top (even if he is better than what we have etc etc)
