Had training last nite, not good. We lost another player to injury, most probably damaged his cartilage so gona be a while. Both our strikers are struggling with injuries, our right mid started to struggle with his hamstring again 
County cup sunday in Princess Risborough. Bit of a trek for us, might have to call upon a few ringers as I dont want to risk them and I dont really care about The Berks & Bucks cup anyway

we all have cards now which we have to show the ref before the game so he knows we won't be playing any ringers  thought that was the same across all leagues.

Nope, we just have a crap piece of paper that the person fills in to sign on, then the secreatry sends a report card to the league with names and reg no's on by wednesday of the following week.
With it being Berks & Bucks we have to do a teamsheet but thats as complicated as it gets.

Its been discussed at our league meetings, but they reckon teams would fold and players not play if they had to go to the effort of getting photos etc.
Our local saturday league does it, not always checked either, normally just the fussy sides.
Should be the other way round as all good local players play semi pro sat then decide next day if they want to play for someone in the morning but if they arent contracted to the team theres nothing you can do.

to be honest they've never been checked (not to my knowledge anyway) but it has been made clear that if we field anyone who isn't officially signed up then we will be chucked out the league.
Not worth the risk. Especially as we've had a good start to the season.

training went well yesterday, Not looking forward to Sunday though, meeting at half 9 as we have draws a Rotherham team that are meant to be very good (easily above our standard) And funnily enough its down the road from Jiz Silva.
