we've tried to keep all of the original features, but some that we're badgered werent worth it and didnt fit into out plans.
the 20's rolltop cast iron bath for example.
I'm still a bit at the plumber smashing it to bits in the front garden nevermind though.
That are a lot of things that i'd like to put bback into the house too.
All the rooms bar the back living room, now master bedroom, had servent buzzer things that waved little flags in a box on the wall in the back living room.
I know where it went in the room, but it wasnt there when we moved in
I've kept the ancient doorbell too, its ace Its a bell with a little hammer that that batters it.... all visable. Just like it, dunno why.
We've blocked up 1 fireplace, and ripped out one (the ripped out one was a 70's heap anyway, so not orig)

The wardrobe was built....the tall main shelving unit in the wardrobe was bought, the rest (big rails, big shelves and the little shelves) were all built

Fee stripping some of the old ornate facings....
Its a shame to chop these up but at least they will get re-used this way
They are orig from the press/cupboard that was in the kitchen.
They are going to be used to 'frame' the recess for the stove in the master bedroom.
We'll try and match them (pitch pine) to the new oak woodwork in there :S

working in the new en-suite just now...
Boarded, filled, skimmed, and painted 1st coat. Will need to fix a few bits and there are still a few joints (external) needing taped but i ran out of the metal edge tape. Will do that later, as its not on the walls where stuff is going.
Travetine floor laid.

Did you buy the spot's fire hoods separately or did they come with the spots; If seperate, where did you buy them from?
