Not realy, its just easyer than fabricating it back into the exhaust system.

well, technically you can argue that my exhaust is 76mil, under boost its 45mil bigger i guess. also can create less turbulance in the exhaust system where the gasses would join back in if they didnt. or something.

cant really say. be more free flowing really if anything at all as not got that bled off exhaust gas getting fired back in to the system when up revs and higher boost perhaps. give that tomturbo an ask. he will know.

in other news. just ordered a small bit of silicone reducer to sort out the brake servo for now until a proper vacuum block is made. rolling road man found something that will work for now though.

anyway.............
this weekend im going to hopefully clean the car out as there are loads of boxes and all sorts inside it. attach centre caps and stuff. might have the alloy boost pipes done by then, so they can get fitted and the bumper can go back on. which will be nice. hopefully get it booked in for mapping end of next week, or early on in march as he is quite busy at the moment. if all boost pipes are on and plenum fitted might take it for a leisurely drive around the airflied.

Is the 4 vacuum pipes going into the block then out as 2, one for map sensor and 1 for brakes?

well theyre going out as 2, then being split into another 1 each. need map sensor, dump valve, boost gauge, fuel pressure reg then the larger one is going to the brake servo. so effectively, 4 in, 5 out.

How does throttle bodies and turbocharging together work? Is it a lot simpler than it seems?
