Little update just fitted omex launch control and rev limiter as the evo 5 chips allowed the engine to rev far to high so its just a safe guard and wasn't much more for launch control feature so bought that one

And a and little video of the revs set to 2k

Made some bonnet spacers

Then thought I'd pull the engine out since I had planned to fit forge rods and arps

Stripped the engine down to be inspected and the news wasn't good, turns out my bores are 'worn' out and needs a re bore to add the the bad news the lad also says the pistons have seen better days

Shot of the marked bores

So it looks like some 86.7/87mm pistons which I haven't planned for but at-least my engine will be future proof

Been busy taking all the factory underseal off, started with the rear arches passenger side was in good condition under the underseal

Wish I could say the same for the drivers side

Crack I found in the front arch

So looks like I need a little bit more welding done then I had planned and I'm going to get the full car spray while I'm getting new quarters sorted. Under the car is in ok nick needs new chassis rails but other then that its 'rust free'

In the middle of painting them will get some pictures when finished

Bit of a update, bought some goodies including a forge dumpvalve service kit as mine leaked boost

New tx rear 3 way pipe and water bar

Also bought some wilwood 4 pots for the front just in the process of painting them

Some gasket for when the engine goes back together (Hopefully soon)

And a sneak peek of what hides under the cover next to my car in the unit
