Given the circumstances, best we could do to be honest. Jose can't fix our striker mess over night.

Ba.... Torres..... Torres is done, we all know that. Ba isn't great at all.

Lukaku is obviously pretty immense, but can't see him playing week in week out. Then that leaves Eto'o at 32, who's been playing in Russia. So christ knows how he will adapt to the Premier League etc

Yeah, well we'll see how he does. Be interesting. But as just said, he's been playing in Russia for the last couple of years, so suddenly playing in the Premier League at 32 will be vastly different to what he's been doing of late. I'd like to think he can still bang them in, though. But we will see.

Herrera looking more and more likely to United now, fantastic player but a huge fee especially considering he poses next to no goal threat which all modern central midfielders should.

Not sure what to think of Herrara to us for that kind of cash! I literally know nothing about the player. All i've heard is that, eventually, he should be shit hot. It's all talk and means fuck all to me though I want a player in who is going to make an instant difference.

I was thinking this, but I suppose we have to be open minded. We have made signings before that aren't a big name and have proved a good addition.

Hope that didn't sound like desperation because we didn't get our other targets!
