well had a great weekend out at pod, big thanks to mark for the pic taking and vids, arrived at about 11 sat morning and after getting tent out and car unloaded got on the strip about 1, it was so hot there think the temp was about 34 deg , put tyre pressure down to about 12 and went and did a few runs , the grip on the slicks is unbeleaveable and i will not be going back to treads now , could only do a few runs and had to let the car cool down but most people were having the same problems,only prob i had of the day were 2 boost pipes poped of even tho i had hung of them and they have beads on the edge , mate got a vid of me doing a 11.2 but when i got my print outs it wasent there , i was very pleased with that as it had taken .09 sec of my pb , i then set the target of getting into the 10,s by the end of this year ,
sunday came and it was even hotter , plan was to get out straight away while it was as its coolest and get a low time went out and my ternimal speed was down to 118 when on sunday i was doing 127 , next run watched my boost and it was only hitting 13 psi, found a boost leak and sorted that , went out and terminals were back up, but wideband was reading low 10s, brought it back and fuel was red hot, went and got 20 liters of george in the corsa c , covered my tank up , left the car for a hour, droped the tyres down to 7 psi and took the air filter of as it was drawing in hot air from the water pipes, went out and got a great launch and ran a 10.9 @ 137mph, went back out straight away and ran another 10.9, then left it to cool down and my very last run went against my mate ste in his tigra and ran another 10.9 was a close race as i was in front 3/4 of the track, can see that race in this vid at 5.20 ish , stes best of the day was a 10.6, plan is not to try run a 10.7 this year ,which i know is in the car , also gear box has been spot on all weekend havent missed a single gear and the clutch and flywheel have been spot on , have been sat at 7k and just droping the clutch and its been working great no worrys which is good news ,now for the vid and pics

not needed mate , cams are holding it back big time and i need a 4 bar map sensor to up the boost , will then be able to go to 3 bar so could quite easly get more power out of it no prob
