Yeah to be fair this is a tad harsh.. Why's he getting chopsed so much about not being able to drive? I've mentioned in a few threads im 17 next week/cant drive and haven't been abused

I think you need to be honest with yourself.
You've not driven on a public highway, you've not any real experience of anything so claiming to be in to mucking about and driving a few cars once isn't really worth talking about.
I appreciate that you are keen, but that is where it stops. Keen and interested is not experienced and wise.

i have driven in a car park twice, but i know im not experienced and im not claiming i am. but its annoying why people think im stupid as in 16, last time i checked ageism is wrong.....

Agreed, driving up the street, or mummy letting you drive off the drive way, let lettin you have ago in a carpark, isn't driving at all.. Wait till you have to drive a few hours on a motorway, it will soon hit you.

To be honest, reason i like this forum, as its ran by some 1 (much ) older then me, will have different views, may have also tried it etc. give me a real review on a car if i asked, instead of ' well my mum let me have ago in a carpark, and it went forward perfectly '
