Cheers lads well happy with the progress recently, it's all coming together . In the process of wiring the popper for the boot at the minute, what a bloody nightmare it is routing all the wires through the car . My dads managed to spray the boot while i've been at work today which is all good, hopefully now i can get the spoiler back on and fit my pressed plates. The oval exhaust sounds good, nice and rumbly when i want it to be, quite quiet when just cruising about, perfect.
Corsa B boy, got the badges made up at http://www.domedbadge.co.uk/ well happy with them, set off the wheels a treat i think. Good for some bonus scene points anyway lol

Cheers girlracer
Cheers shaun your engine bay's looking blinging indeed, was gonna post in your thread earlier but i got a bit distracted.
Got a few quick snaps of the boot earlier when it stopped pissing it down. Got the spoiler on now too but was too dark to take pics, i'll get some decent ones another day. On to the pics
looks 10 times better with the spoiler on i think. Hopefully will get my pressed plates on sometime before PVS too. Tempted to just sikaflex them on but not sure.

Looks very nice mate
Dont go for sikaflex as they will never come off again without taking all the paint with it. If they are legal then use sticky pads as they are strong enough but can still be removed should you want to do it OR if there is a chance of getting pulled and told to take them off or you are only using them for show use then use velcro.

Cheers mate I tried sticky pads before and they didn't last all that long tbh, was thinking of putting a dab of sikaflex in each corner just enough to hold them on yet still easy to fishing line off if needs be but i dunno tbh, i'll see if i can get some sticky pads again and give them a shot.
Also, here be pictures avec le spoiler
Really happy with the general lines and profile of the car now

Well, first PVS, and first proper show over. Couldn't have asked for more from everyone. All the organisation and effort put in by everyone made for a top notch weekend. So a big thanks to all the admin etc, Ian, Will, Chris. Definately going to be trying to make it to more shows. But anyway, had some really good comments from people which has kinda spurred me on some more to try and make it even cleaner and nicer. Here's a few pics of mine from the weekend.
If anyone else has any pics, please do post them in here for me .
Was good to meet and chat to a few peoples, would have liked to have chatted to some more of ya but was wandering around and watching the strip most of the time. Hey-ho

Not really tbh, things have been going rather slow recently. Was hoping to get some new arches all round ready to paint along with my bumper tops, skirts and scuttle. Hopefully that can be done soon-ish while summer's still here and the weather's good. Coilies should be on the cards within the next few months so i'll be able to give it a healthy drop then. That's the plans anyway, whether things go to plan is a whole different story

Cheers Mark The SXI's are tucked away in storage at the minute cos the tyres are shot. Never got round to refurbing the curbed wheel. Thinking of doing something crazy with them though just for shits and giggles

Small lil update.
Got myself a cav rarb from the scrappy the other weekend so got round to tidying it up and fitting it today, got one of my mums work mates to drill and supply some nuts and bolts which fit a treat. Fully sanded it down and rust treated it, then gave it a few coats of hammerite smooth. Here be a few pics
Painted up
Fitted
Showing the fitment
Can't believe how much difference it has made to the overall handling of the car, handles so nice now.
Also got a lil package in the post today.
VW Sharan aerial
Tidies the look of the car up nicely, no more looking like a remote control car .
Other news also, possibly going to be using my brothers spare arches off his new shell to paint up because the clips are all intact and they're fairly decent condition. New wheels may very well be on the way. Shipping them over from germany if i do get them as the shipping's quoted fairly cheaply and tbh. it's the easier option than driving and getting them. Getting some custom stickers made up for the windows that kinda take a dig at the VW boys. That's about all for now peeps
