It needs a push for members with c's and d's is all I'm saying, i can just see all corsa a site for all corsas being more desirable, doesn't help that if you type corsa forum into google they're first either
Also try and find a clean unabused b on ph, I was having a look earlier and theres some shite on their

I don't care if it changes or not and reading Ians comments I don't think it will but I think he really is missing a trick with it.

Nothing would happen, but then thats because its only you asking, not potentially hundreds of members that have been reg'd on the site since day dot. Anyway its all mearly suggestions & idea's just now, as im sure were all in agreement that something needs doing, however no-body's going to force any change, Ian will do whatever it is that he wants.
so basically what you are saying is. as you are a long standing member you should have a say in what happens to this site? this corsa site, that you want changed?
seems completely daft if you ask me.

one thing i havent seen / read yet is this...
all who are on CS are in their own groups and are generally older, these young lads/lasses who join up feel intimidated by you older and dont think much to the site, if you go on corsa-c.co.uk and ask what they think of corsasport you will get what i mean.

Its not just me Nik its probably what more than half the members on here want. I want CS to remain btw, I just think somewhere for those of us that have outgrown the corsa can go to would benefit all. Surely you can see sense in that? Or are we all dickhead corsa haters?

i completely understand what you are saying. you are demanding the owner of a corsa site to cater for you. i get it. i just think what you are asking is a bit silly.
this is a corsa site. you are posting on a corsa site. thats all there is to it.

This is exactly what put me off at the beginning of using this site and can only imagen that some people wouldn't have the patience to get past the initial intimadation of it looking like everyone knowing everyone and not being able to break into the community.

Exactly which is why AllCorsa and Corsa-C are doing so well because they are much younger, funny enough this website has a lot older user base which is kinda ridiculous but then if you go on PNG some of them are even older
Some of us have been around for a decade now and some of the lads on PNG/Novaload have been around even longer, speaking to Stu (smcgsi16v) gives you an idea of how far back they go.

I think you are overestimating the amount of people you think want a change Colin. Ive gone through the thread and im seeing:
You
Davey
Steve

Paul J
Not really half the members is it?

You have raised two good points in both your posts and it's good to read a relative newbies view of things, but involving yourself in the way you have it wont be long until you are mixed up in the banter with the rest of us.

i found when i owned a corsa asking anything on migweb just got me flamed, same thing is happening on here because its evolved beyond a single model click
im not saying fuck it lets rebrand, but its hard to move on to another forum when you've been here this long, know people and just dont get the same experience else where

darren setup corsa-c as he was fed up with the shite that was on here, totally un-corsa related and because he (we) all had corsa-c's and this site was primerily for the corsa-b he started up ccuk.
the new kids of today dont look at a corsa b and go damn i want one.. they look at vx220's and go damn i want one.. the amount of people looking at getting the vx220 at 18-20 is shocking..
what im saying is that if they believe they can afford a 8-10k car why the hell would they be interested in a corsa b forum.

First of all this corsa site would be fuck all if it wasnt for us long standing non-corsa owners support. If you cant be talked round then thats fine, it doesnt mean anything to me but it would be far more commendable if you just appreciated the ideas getting fired around & appreciated that whatever happens will be in the interests of everyone & not those you think are shitfucks for whatever reason.
Thats all I have to say tbh, hopefully i'll be in a better place soon

You know what im getting at Ollie
Maybe it would be a good idea, maybe it wouldnt. I just think that the bigger than pistonheads thing is not going to happen as less people than what some are saying want this General car site.
I remember everyone saying WR was an awesome idea and it would be massive when it launched, i think i was even one of them. Now look at it...
