Well, ive finally done some work on the car today. Put some petrol in the car and started it for the first time in atleast 5 months and it started without any hassle

Ive been collecting parts for the last 6 months and ive pretty much got all that I need to get the car serviced and up to scratch now!

Small list of what ive got is:
Gearbox oil for when I change gearboxes
Engine oil
Oil filter
Ignition leads
Spark plugs
Brake fluid
Carb spray
New smaller washer bottle
Oil catch tank
Manifold heat wrap
New grooved discs and pads
New brake caliper (pistons are sticking on old one)
Fresh number plates
Cold air feed hose for TBs

A few other bits ive done since the last updates is to paint my boot handle

Painted my fuel cap black as it looked abit rough

Got these off ebay as abit of fun and for the track/race look

Also some 'TOW' stickers front and back for when on track, also fitted the new plates

Main thing I did today was to fit a Isuzu Trooper bonnet scoop to feed some air to the TB's, plus I think these look great on Nova's. Didnt get any pictures of the holes I cut in the bonnet, but it should now help feed the TB's well. To secure it I keyed both surfaces and got hold of some very strong bonding agent that we use at work to secure the scoop onto the bonnet, saved drilled holes!

Cheers Chris. The scoop is more function over form but I do like the look of them on Nova's as they are quite an old school mod on them now.

The main reason for keeping that boot is because its mint with no rust atall and I didnt see the need to change or smooth it unless it was for a fibre glass item but that costs £s lol

Cheers Sean. Thats my mate Charles track weopon! Will get some pics up some time. Hasnt moved for about a year but its a serious bit of kit! 1.6 on TBs, about 200 brake, dry sump, dog box, 6 pots, full cage etc etc. He runs the farm where I work on the car, hes had the car quite a few years now and has helped me out with mine!

I'm sure my pal said he had some, I'll ask him.

Or I have one that you can have but you'll need to find 3 more.

Thanks Haimsey! I'm pleased with the scoop and it should do a good job of feeding cold air to the TBs
