Nic, drive to Kurts then Kurt drives the rest of the way.
Cole, drive to mine then Bea drives the rest of the way.
Voila, mileage reduced a touch.

First ride today December 13th. Really nice to get out, done about 12 miles or so.
Also got to try out my new Gore softshell and its worth every penny.
Also shows the ride where I broke my collar bone as I hadn't reset my Garmin.

I've been off the bike this weekend.
Must have slept funny on Friday night. Woke up yesterday fine but throughout the day my neck got progressively worked. So much so I can't turn my head and look like a robot. Plus lifting arms is difficult.
Walked around Chicksands Bike Park today whilst dad was riding taking pics.
Oddly moving about is best. If I sit still for too long it seizes in that position.
Getting out of bed this morning was interesting.

When I've had physio on stuff before, they're always keen on you moving rather than keeping the affected area still. Gets the blood flowing and stops your muscles tightening up e.t.c.

Really nice to be out and to get muddy. I rode at a nice steady comfortable pace to suit the current fitness. Wasn't as hard work as I thought but I could tell the body wasn't use to it. I ache a bit now, which I never used too. And one of the hills I ride up which is hard work anyway was a serious killer.
Shoulder felt fine and had no problems there especially considering I have had no pysio or anything for it.
I had also set my front shock slightly softer than what it was as I thought it was too stiff and that's better now and the bike feels great after the service.
Looking forward to a couple of weeks time.
