Brown Brothers. It's a bodyshop motor factors. I'm using Bodyline D/A disks on my (Tom's) air powered D/A and 3M hookit pieces of paper on my 3M blocks.

Update:

This is a £1.5k re-spray.

This is a smoothed in arch that is strong enough to lift the car off of the ground with:

Forgot to take more pictures after I had blocked it down a bit. Just need to do the other side now

looking good ed, have u fibreglassed the inside of the arch to get its stong i found thats good way to get it nice and solid!

Na, I bonded it on with some Tiger Seal. Made it solid as a rock!

I'll sand it all back with a block and some 40 grit. If you use a DA the it wont be flat and I'd have to do it again so it would be a rippley...

i never really got on with tiger seal, always thought there would still be bit of flex with tigerseal that could cause cracking, i dont know tho, eveyone does different!

i normally get rid of the bulk of filler with a da then finish it off with a block to get it flat!

I always worry that the fiberglass will crack off the plastic because it doesn't bond to it too well

I think we are fighting a loosing battle. I should do it properly in steel, but I'm not skilled enough to bend metal like that

I have banned myself from doing it with the DA now. I always go that little bit too far. Getting big shoulder muscles now sanding for 7 ot 8 hours a day

i think the more u use a da sander the beta u get to handle it!! i love my da, need a new pag for it tho one i have at the min is well hammered!! hehe

yea steel is way forward, like corsa brava, that was not really bending steel just lots of little peices bent into place! i enjoyed the welding even if i am messy at it
