It amuses me that uefa step in for eduardo, but every other fucker who dives in CL gets away with it.
Gerrard does it and he "earned" a penalty
Rooney swears at a ref...its passion.

Its not double standards, its just sickening that Eduardo has cheated another respectable club out of playing in the CL.

What has Rooney swearing at a ref got to do with diving?
It should be stamped out and if it takes Eduardo getting a ban then so be it, there has to be 1 precedent set for others to follow.

The only thing that annoys me is the way the media have turned this into a witch hunt.
But yes, something definatley does need doing about diving.
You watch...Rooney will take a dive on Saturday and get Utd a penno, and he'll get praised for it!!

IMO it's more to do with the fact the Scottish FA seem to have been clamping down on it with retrospective punishments. They've complained and the media have jumped on it

I'm all for automatic 2 game ban for diving. As long as its consistant. If eduardo gets banned...great. Lets see more of it.

The problem with banning is then you have to look at EVERY single dive in a match. It shouldn't just be when its a deciding penalty decision or the like, even a free kick in the middle of the park should be enough.
Also if someone dives and does not get anything they should also still get done.
Its just not manageable IMO to tackle it with laws of the game. Better that the managers work with thier players.
