So, got a little done over the weekend, sorry for the bad pics, I don't have the best light in my garage..

First up was to wrap and p clip some of the loom, I say some as I only had certain size p clips so have ordered the size I need and will continue with that next week, the bits I did do..

Then I test fitted the solid gearbox/engine mounts..

Then it was onto finishing the dash, I had to chop a little out of the light switch panel in order to fit round the cage..

And the fuse cover..

Then mounted hazard light switch and fan switch and fitted..

Then the gauge pod and fuel level gauge..

Then the shift light and clock shroud..

Have sent the surround for the stack dash to be flocked, am really looking forward to its return so as I can fit that and that'll be the dash finished

Then I fitted the lifeline snap off boss..

And fitted..

I did also lower the steering column slightly but no pics of that, is just perfect now though, could do with coming over an inch or so to be central with drivers seat but that vauxhalls shitty build tolerances I guess..

Then it was the battery box, have relocated this behind the passenger seat as it was in the boot previously, should give a better weight balance here.

Then I got the drivers seat in, starting to look like a car again now

Got a real busy week this week so prob not gonna get a play so until next week...

Got a little bit done today..

Got all the inside loom completely covered and clipped, looks much better, running along passenger side sill..

Around the rear arch..

And along the boot..

With that now finished, was onto the solid steering rack mounts, really nice and easy to fit!

Then it was onto the dash, spent what felt like hours chopping out all the wires for the standard clocks, keeping the few wires I needed and joining up to the stack loom, really tight fit with it all behind the dash but its in and should hopefully work, am pretty confident I got all the wires right but you know how it is lol. Also wired in the fuel gauge at the same time. Am planning to finish all the wiring next, earths etc so as I can test it.

The 4 switches for the display mounted..

And the display..

And my view

Should hopefully get a few hours this week, am on jury service from tomoz but shouldn't be as long days as what I do at work..

This little lot turned up yesterday, and will be getting fitted along with the swirl pot tomoz

Facet red top (lift pump)
2x mini bullet filters
-6 fittings
-6 braided nylon ptfe fuel hose
P clips

Also have a 1.5 diesel corsa b fuel tank cage on its way to me as it doesn't house the fuel pump but has the pick up pipe in tank which is what I now need.

More updates tomoz
