Had water pump and new cambelt 6 months before I bought the car... Cambelt looks as old as the engine

I did indeed darryl, that's the fun part of this project, I fix a bodge take something else off and find an even bigger bodge to make me laugh didn't do any damage dan just pretty fucked lol, got waterpump and cambelt sitting next to my toolbox at work so all is good and after half hour of faffing finding bolts I managed to get my block on the engine stand what a c*nt to do on your own



Messy workspace!! Will have a tidy up if I get time over the weekend

I'll help as much as i can, its a piece of piss if im perfectly honest takes no brains timing these engines up and water pump is 3 bolts

Crap update, started on stonechipping the car... Rear panel.. Had to weld up a few bits I missed last time



Spent 5 minutes making up a side panel for the dash, used the panel for the inside of the boot for some reason I quite like the kick up part of the panel lol think it might look quite good when its bonded on and flocked

You will be surprised at the ammount of weight I have saved by cutting it.. Saving weight where ever possible.. Not to everyone's liking

You know the trim that covers the rear wiper motor on inside of the boot, that... Was the closest thing to hand when I was sitting in the car so I grabbed it and it looks ok

Was going to take the pistons out but I don't have the right socket to get the conrod cap bolts off so left it there for tonight.. But 'billy bullshit' bodged again my sump was missing 5 bolts!! Lol no wonder it had an oil leak haha
