pleasant lunchtime trip to the scrap yard on my day off. 2 cables from corsa 1litre, and 2 cables which are shorter so probably the one i will fit, from mk3 astra 1.4 8v. pleasant.

ordered up some harder poly bushes aswell.

I think you re-define the saying of "He has a heavy right foot".

Javs best was a 12.3....

Nic,do you think Alan's corsa might be quicker than yours??Seeing as his best was a 12.2 and your best was a 12.3??Sort of power is his putting out??

Stress of fitting a throttle cable. Bloody awkward home made set up.

probably cant make it out but the bit the cable end goes into really pissed me off. took ages to get it to fit as it kept spinning round and trying to keep the throttle open to get at it, well yeah annoying.

smart as owt astra mk3 1.4 8v cable attached.

figured out why it snapped them. no stop on pedal. cant adjust cable to give it enough slack either no matter which cable was fitted. got some polybush delivery blocks in garage might cut one up and glue it to the floor.

anyone provide info on where or what the original pedal stop is? wondering why it aint got one.

Usually goes on the bottom of the pedal itself I think.

Video of the Starlet vs Glanza is my mate in the black starlet. He ran quite good times all day for it being standard. 15.1 was his best i think. Yours looked really good in the flesh, near shit myself when you bang it off the limiter. What was that other high powered LET running? Similar to yours, TBs + turbo?

i dont really know all that much about it. 2.2 bar on a gt30 will have more power than mine anyway.

got some of them through the post so that gives me something to fit on the weekend. they are the harder ones from rally deisgn will replace the powerflex ones it has now.

yeah hoping they will be a good bit harder than the purple powerflex ones although its probably going to be less pleasant to drive about in.

so vxr james with the vxr is off on holiday with family and children. he got a spare 19" wheel for the car as the tyre foam crap just aint much good. typically it dont fit in the spare wheel well so opperation make it fit better was under way.

gives it about an inch more clearance so wont push boot floow up so much

aint too bad

sat in the boot to give it some scene stance

lowered to fuck

glued the carpet back down and pushed it neatly into the newly created recess in the floor panel. grand indeed.

we approved of the work, then decided to form our own pop band. havent worked on the name yet, or ho to play music. but we can bust some freestyles and beatbox.

good old corsa. jack them up at the front and it lifts the back at the same time

remove some of them and notice the amazing powder coating my mate did with the brush. amazinf quality.

fit some new stiffer ones.

job complete.

feels a lot stiffer to drive. definitely tell the difference between them and the powerflex. feel all the bumps a lot more on the back roads on my way home. more positive feel can only be a good thing.
