few pics of what i did before i fecked off to cyprus. took engine out did some welding and put it back in again. not really that interesting but hey. plugged the injectors in on the gotech as well only about 20 more things to connect up. shouldnt be long now before i can try to start it. just waiting for my zetec coil to turn up and a few other bits and bobs. need a wideband set up as well. if i can get it running i want to drive it to jamsport ideally but i dont see it happening

thats about it for now going to get stuck in this week and get it up and running. still loads to do before it can see tarmac but if it runs it will make everything else easier for me.

anyways picture time.
got the top oil feed for the turbo in. the original turbo must have sat further to the left as it was miles out but a bit of bending sorted that one.

also relocated the dipstick as it used to stick out before and bolt to the old manifold so that got bent and shoved behind the water pipe.

bottom oil feed just needs a longer bit of pipe going on it and then thats fine.

the hard water feeds that were bolted to the block are just too far out so going to cut them off closer to the turbo end and just use silicone tube for them. might even try getting some braided ones on there.

and last my new gear linkage made up extended the u bit and shortened the other side slightly and rose jointed the top bit just waiting on new bushes to go on the balls and a new pin to join it to the linkage on the box then it should be tight as a nuns arse. no gearbox soup like it is on the car im driving at the minute. got a set ordered for that as well so il do both at the same time.
