I thought it was quite a good come back in light of the self serving bullshit that Jack Straw spouted for what felt like an eternity.

Straw was preaching from his ivory tower and pretending to be one of the hard-done-by I felt Adam.

It gets one on the telly Ollie.

Witch hunts are great for self publicising and make a lovely distraction from the short comings of others.

Christ, even the tories sent up a militant Muslim woman to represent themselves and have a dig.

Nick Griffin did not attack Islam, he was asked a question and answered it in the way that it was required to be answered.

I fucking hate the BBC it's a complete disgrace.

Exactly. He merely responded in kind. Way to quote out of context. So much for unbiased reporting.

Straw inferred he was a Nazi, which seemed to get him riled up hence the 'my dad your dad' stuff.

I thought if anyone made a fool of themselves it was Straw, waffling on for 5 minutes several times without actually saying anything. Also I fail to see what Bonnie Greer added to the discussion apart from a few patronising remarks to Griffin, what a waste of a seat. Just a token I is black innit blud addition.

Griffin didn't seem able to articulate his points well enough, I was expecting a better public speaker to be honest, I think he was lucky that the panel was mediocre, someone like Christopher Hitchens or Ian Hislop would have tore him a new arsehole.

I'm not an avid fan of politics tbh,

And I certainly am not a fan of the BNP, BUT I can see the case he is putting forward.

This country will in later generations be another America

It will be another Bastard nation, I don't have a direct opinion on any of it,

I feel we need something else out there in the political world.

Labour isn;t doing it.
Tories aren't going to do it.

Immigration is something which needs addressed
Banking and the fatcat bosses needs addressed. (I mean if everyone in the UK decided to remove their money from the bank, then the banks would be arsed)
Something needs to be done about the youth.

This country has become very very soft, and it is appealing to other countries which inhabitants are emmigrating to here.

They need to take a long look back at whats changed

BNP is not the answer, as has been said they are trying to catch the undecided vote with their radical views. and it will work to a certain extent.

Who wants to start up a political movement?

Meet my garage 9am Monday morning, I'll buy some custard creams

If you read their policies on their website some make sense, and I think would get this country back on track.

It's a real shame there is the racism side to this party, which me and most other people strongly disagree with.

And I don't think Nick Griffin managed to come across very well. Especially with an audience full of people who were anti-BNP in the first place and the other 3 main parties keep bringing up racism.

I think a programme featuring him alone with an audience to ask questions about ALL of the policies, not just immigration would have been better. People still really don't really know what they stand for.

I've not really read much about the BNP but alot of people that favour them seem to think they aren't racist, they just don't think foreigners sponging from the state is a right and proper thing to do? It's going to be pretty hard to get these people sent back now though, let's say I was a freeloader, my kids were born here so how would he remove them?

That is indeed the chief problem Shells.

The BNP may well have become NF Light, but the fact remains they are still essentially fascists at heart (or at very least, seen that may by most) and just won't progress with that nail in their coffin.

I believe that there should be more discipline in schools. This is why there is such a big problem with gang culture and crime by young people. Parents don't give a shit about discipline, schools can't discipline... so where do young people learn about respect?

I think that pulling out of Europe, which I think is something like £50+ million a day just to be part of and stopping wars in Afghanistan/Iraq would save a lot of money for our economy, as would cutting down aid to other countries until our own financial situation is resolved.

More doctors, nurses & dentists for the NHS rather than managers.

Improving and encouraging the British economy, less importing would also save money and boost jobs for people here.

Capital punishment, proper prison sentences served full time and prisons to actually be like prisons. Police back on the streets fighting crime.

And to feel like i'm not getting robbed of half of my wage to pay for taxes which MPs claim back for their food, duck houses, tvs, porn films etc

Most of what you said makes sense, but this doesnt.

Costs are too high in the UK to produce most of our goods - employment costs are ridiculous, rent prices are ridiculous, red tape is ridiculous, taxes are ridiculous, etc. etc. and this will add up to stupidly high prices for our goods and therefore people being worse off as they cant afford to buy them.

Everything else you said Id like to see too though - although the wars will no doubt end up being profitable as we milk them for oil and selling our services to them for the next 50yrs.

I actually been thinking about it a lot, and although I thought I agreed on many of the BNPs policies. When you consider that moving into the future the world is a lot more connected, we have too many resources and knowledge as a country to deny that we can help third world countries and offer them salvation. Turning our back on them would only aggravate those less fortunate and I think it would be quite selfish frankly.

Lots of people will agree with lots of their policies if not all of them, that's what their party is built on. A pure facade to mask vile racism. Don't be fooled by them and their sycophantic bullshit, they would sell their granny for a fiver to gain 1 more vote.

One example within the last couple months, they have actually started selling CD's containing republican songs and endorsing it in order to try and sway the vote of the Republican in Northern Ireland. Ireland being a land Britain segmented for personal gain much the same as they did with various other places across the world when they ruled the sea, uber British behaviour from the British National Party that.

Only white people are racist nick.....

I know he has been accused before, but imagine if he turned around to the guy and said;

'Ok lets have a whip around and send you back to africa because you are black'.

Thats is a complete reverse on what was said. No more harm done than when the comment was made about him. What would have been done? The telly vision programe would have stopped, he would of been arrested etc. Joke. And its comments like these that gets me going. Rule for one, rule for another.

its pretty obvious that if your black, asain or homo, you can say whatever you want about anyone or anything as its all fredom of speech. this seems not to apply to a white non gay man. all other parties promoting political correctness and aceptence of others, who clearly cant accept the ideals of a straight white man is why half the people i know will vote bnp.

im not a racist, couldnt care less where people came from or what religion they are. what i do care about is that they have more right to speak out than i do.

Not really racist though was it. Just highlights the rediculous-ness of what his party is pushing (underneath the semi-acceptable policies).
Was pretty much a comment saying that if he doesn't like it here he is just as welcome to leave himself rather than pushing everyone else away.

Depending on the context it would be yes.

In the context he said it though it wasn't, no.
