An odd signing that one. Seedorf obviously doesn't rate him, but he's a good player.

Truly gutted to lose Juan, absolutely gutted. Kind of know how Arsenal fans felt when V.Persie left. All I can say to United fans on here (as I'm sure you know) you got a truly wonderful little footballer! Truly an excellent footballer. Very depressing to lose him it really is.

Haven't got a clue who these 2 are as I don't follow foreign football. Are they any good?
By any good, I mean better than our league 1 rated team.

Boriello has been on the decline ever since his career started.

I've liked mata for ages, and when we were linked with him I was thinking mourinho would never sell him to untied, I'm made up we've actually
Got him. I'm sure he will do well for us. It sounds like moyes has got more players in mind aswell, the glazers have told him to carry on spending according to twitter

I'm absolutely buzzing to have him wearing red. Can't believe mourinho sold him to us, or sold him at all! Nice to see a genuine comment from a chelsea fan as oppose to the "omg u payd 40m 4 a bench warma"

What's all these rumours going round that mata is actually in a bad way and almost didn't pass his medical? Allegedly a big risk purchase for fitness hence why he hasn't been playing this season?

Na I'm truly gutted, still in shock. I mean Chelsea player of the season two years in a row, bundles of assists, loads of goals, genuine world class play from him, and we sell him. He should of been a proper legend here. Really not fair how this can happen, especially in a club in our position, and a club that 'doesn't need to sell', and which we logically don't. I'd have Mata over Oscar in the side for sure, he would of played every game for me no doubt about it. And, there are very few players in the world I'd take over Mata.

Messi's dad hasn't given the most emphatic indication that Messi will stay at Barca .
"Can I assure Messi will play at Barca next season? He is under contract. Then in football, you know we never know what can happen in football"
Going by what Zlatan said in his book, I'm not sure how Messi would cope in a dressing room full of ego's elsewhere
