Think they said would only be doing 2 weekends next year instead of 3 sadly. People who own airfield been complaining about dickheads fuckin about in the car park and on the other rough area on way in. always some pricks that spoil it for the rest of us.

so after having some issues every now and again with the car pulling all over the place under hard acceleration, the thoughts discussed were it was the spacers causing isses.
took the wheels off ready to grind the callipers a bit more to find out perhaps the real reason.....

would appear someone previously has butchered the centre bore of the wheels perhaps to fit on larger hubs. this has been done before the wheels were painted as well. the lumps that stick out were causing the wheel not to be centred perfectly. sometimes perhaps i just got the wheel on correct, as it didnt always pull all over the place.
for now the lumps in the centre bore have been smoothed off with dremel. ideally need to get the wheels sent off to the local wheel place and get the centres sorted out and some spiggots made up sometime soon.

so with the spacers gone, a shade more with a flapper wheel was removed from the callipers.

wheels now fit nicely over brakes without the spacers, and due to roughly adjusting the handywork by some rough twat with the centres, they actually fit on better.
tested the car hard through 4th and hard through 5th and it was fine. much much better.

yeah me either. will be 100% sorted once wheels have been machined. atleast it drives better now. annoying problem it was, as it didnt always do it. perhaps i just got the wheel on more central sometimes.
front and back wheels are all like that pic. need all 4 sorted out sadly.

its dirty as its in daily driver mode. new rear tyres on, 195/45/15 yoko s drive same as fronts 36 each fitted inc vat. bargain. lowered it while it was in work getting the tyres on a bit. not a massive amount. but here is a comparrison.

drag sTaNcE

helladailydriverflush sTaNcE
should handle a bit better not being so high at back.

first parts for re-made exhaust arrived. centre box should be here in the next few days. just need some 45mil powerflow bits from work to do the screamer back into downpipe. will get that bought this week. booked in at jdm to have the exhaust done in a couple of weeks and have the low boost map adjusted a touch before track day.
