More worrying, is that Almunia and Bendtner are both still here, we need them off the wage bill ASAP! Eboue is pretty much a done deal, thje squad numebr bit confirms that. now if we could just get rid of squillachi and convince nasri to sign a new contract....

I agree, although I think your interest in Dann might be real too? I think Cahill wants mega bucks, which might rule us both out in the end. kenny has been quoted as saying 'I'm being pressured into buying, not selling'. I think we're definitely after a CB but as with you it would need to be better VFM than £17m for Cahill.

Not sure about Dann mate, one seaosn wonder worry for me :S just not sure he improves the team but he could turn out to be a great signiong. in truth, more likely than jagielka or cahill IMO. Boltona re shooting themselve sin the foot holding out for so much for him.

He may not go about it in the most fan friendly way but IMO he's been much better for the club than Fat Freddy was (especially the last couple of years before Ashley bought us)

I have similar feelings. Everyone will talk about him being a team that got relegated etc but in truth they were much more solid with him at the back. He also has some injuries concerns and I'm not sure how he would cope playing a high line as Brum generally sat very deep defensively. Could go either way if either of us sign him, i.e.g pretty big gamble.
