Somewhat strange film that I'm sure not everyone will enjoy.
The pace takes a dive somewhere around the halfway mark, which does a lot of damage imo. This is somewhat made up for, however, by some incredibly well written and well delivered dialogue.
Definitely Colin Farrell's best part since In Bruges, though I feel most of the weight is carried by Sam Rockwell, who's just fantastic. Actually, pretty much all characters are very well cast.
I enjoyed it only for the put your hands up bit, perfect actor for it, perfectly done.... as fuck

Dream House - 5/10
Supposed horror/thriller about an idyllic new home that isn't what it seems. Acting is a bit cringe worthy, Craig isn't a method actor and tends to play himself, which is fine in Layer Cake and Bond but not in Defiance, Munich and this. Not really sure why Naomi Watts and Elias Koateas needed to be in the film as they brought nothing to it. Aside from Watts looking hot obviously. The twist towards the end was a little bit predictable and disappointing.
Just read that the actors refused to promote the film and the director tried to get his credit removed. I can see why.

Really?
I thought it looked spaftastic and I loved how they kept it in the '80's. The only thing that let it down for me was Michael Sheen's part.
