I've no idea, as I'm sure you'll be well aware. That still doesn't change the fact though does it? If the temperature of the gearbox oil was that much of a factor in the fly figure, law of averages states that it would have affected at least 1 other car out of the bunch that ran?

this is my point, there are many factors which resulted in your innacurate figure @ the fly.

kerry> cold gearbox oil means high @ fly figure
hot oil means lower resistance, so more accurate @ fly.

still at it i see! to be honest i dont care, at the end of the day he has a rr'd slip which i will believe as much as i have a rr'd slip he will believe, ok it may be 1-2bhp out or have differences between different rr'ds but at the end of the day unless u get it on a dyno ull never get the "exact" figure that u seem to no so much about
