steve..... what

its due to the long pipe work to one of the connections on the solenoids.

The engine will be out soon so i'll get it sorted out then

steve - in response to the ECU/boost thing.

The SBC-iD is in charge of the boost, not my ECU. It has the ability the boost/wastegate every somemany times a second. The longer pipeing introduces some lag. Thats my interpretation anyway

i didnt realise you had a separate boost management, but my experiences cars where the ecu requests boosts levels is that it always spikes slighty then settles, boosts is requested based on demand and demand to get the car moving initially is greater than when you have momentum, hence the spike

its like if you floor it in a high gear at low revs the ecu will request more boost as the engine needs to be worked harder, then when the revs rise demand is less and boost will settle off.

i dont know how your boost management works though

fitted the first bucket.

Was a bit on a PITA getting it in with out griding off the orig seat mout points, sothing i didnt want to do
The corbeau seats are quite high, so had to try and keep the mounts/sliders low.

I had to alter the slider handle and the just reversed it to get the mounts in snug behinf the cross beam on the floor.

Fitted the eye bolts for the harnesses too

look nice, but is it me or does the seat sit quite high..

Have you fitted the turbo's? are you planning to run external wastegates, they help with the whole boost spike thing. Ive said before but ill have the stock turbo's off you, if you sell

it is quite high, yes

but i dont think its too high.

I may look into getting a proper side mount for it as it has holes taped in the bottom and sides for mounts.

I only got the turbos a few days ago, planning to get them fitted when the engine is out getting the bottom end work.

or may be a better idea to get subframes that actually mount to the OE bolt holes.

BRIDE, or Recaro do them...... http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist.php?make=Nissan&carcode=R32C&intake=FI&category=interior

Taylored sub-frames are the way to go. With seats like that some side mounts would be quite usefull so you can adjust the height. I founf my Corsa with Cobra sub frames the seats sat too low...

did some body and electrical work today :O

Hacked the front bumper to fit the N1 bumper vents. Will need to grind the crash bar for them to fit properly tomorrow.

Fixed the front headlights. When i got the car the drivers side main beam would sometimes work. It stopped working all together, along with the full beam constant (full beam flash worked). Ruled out bulb problems, then just rewired the fucker

the intercooler works, so will do for now.

Once the turbo's are on and the car may NEED a bigger FMIC i'll get one, not before
