I chose the option to keep Mehrunes razor in bits, a chance to instantly kill is a bit op in my view, want to battle !
Takes me ages to kill a dragon, stealth spec for now with a bow and daggers, trying to shoot a flying dragon is quite difficult.

Erm it's a bit.....dull innit?
I fail to see how this is any better than Oblivion, just prettier. Everything seems so shallow and inconsequential

Is a bit dull, go to a underground crept and collect an item x 300 times.
Not really a fan of melee combat either, bit spamish.

Just bought it.
Went to 3 stores in centre of town. No where had pre owned or 360 copies. bought it new on PS3 which means I need to delete so much stuff to accommodate this now
I would have thought there would be good stock of this game by now. GS sold their last 360 copy an hour before I went in, don't they know who I was at head office!!!

Try doing a fast travel by pulling up the World map and fast travelling to a location you have already found and the horse should be there.

I currently have the feeling of I just want to get powered up and progress and not explore around as its so vast. On the other hand I should really take my time!
I'm not too sure on the in game map, I was expecting it to be more conventional like the Fallout map.

i think the fast travel is a bad idea , im only level 9 or so, fast traveled far north to do a mission and got killed instantly. now i have no idea what missions i can and cant do as i can get to them all so easily

I didn't need to clear any PS3 disc space btw way, which is strange.
40GB and I already have F3, Uncharted 1 & 2, GH3 and some other stuff on there.

Best way I think is to just explore the World, you will find new locations and places for other missions.
Some mobs are more difficult then others but the World should lvl with you so when you are lvl 1-50 the enemies stay around that level.

I find melee in the game is really boring though, too much spamming, not really any skill needed and using a bow does stupid dmg from sneak and then hardly any dmg out of "hide"
Would rather something like VATS, just to make it more exciting.

Essentially yeah, feels a little more responsive too. Fallout 3 was based on Oblivion, I think this is entirely new but same principal.

VATS would be good, I dealt with the spider using the bow. Fired, hid, fired hid, until it was dead. Sword/axe for the skeletons as I can't get the arrow ready when they are running at me!

I read somewhere Skyrim was using the engine as Oblivion. Might be bullshit but on Xbox, it doesn't look much better graphically than Oblivion.

That's what they claim, it's blatantly just the Gamebyro engine with a few improvements though.
