BWin offering best odds at the moment. Might be worth £20.

That time trial he did yesterday was fucking amazing, thought he would pass Evans. If he avoids all the fun during the tour he will definitely be a contender. I hope Cav wins the green again, comes across very arrogant but fuck me that boy can sprint.

Looks mint! I'd have fallen off after about 30 seconds

I'd definitely have no chance on the rocky parts

What front lights are people using on their mountain bikes ? I've started riding with a local club and they all have £200- £300 hope lights which are way out my budget tbh. I've found a magic shine light on eBay looks the same as the hopes with similar light output for £89.

A £30 one off of eBay. Not used it yet, but someone I work with bought 1 and said it was better than his £200+ Hope light...

Like this one

Test rode a cube peloton race today fitted with 105/ultegra, really nice bike, couldn't believe how much smoother the gear changes were and was well up for buying it but they only had a 58 left and couldn't get a 56 hope they bring out something similar in the 2013 range

Went to the LBS for a look today, the guy in that shop was full of praise for one of the bikes the guy in yesterdays bike shop said was shit and said the guy in there was talking shit and that the cube he'd tried to sell me has a rubbish frame hmmm Had a sit down on a 2011 pinarello FP1, very nice but he had no interest in doing finance so that went out the window.

Check out www.formbycycles.co.uk

Phone them up, they might have one in stock

Although you might have to wait for next years model as they sell out stupidly quick.

Looking for a road bike as although I'm doing somewhere near 100miles a week now, it's on a hardtail mountain bike and my rides are split 50/50 road/trail.

Been reading about triathlon bikes vs road bikes and I can't make my mind up which would suit best for me and the road riding I do-anyone got experience of TT or Triathlon bikes for road riding?

Well a TT bike won't be at all relaxed, what sort of distances do you ride?

I wouldn't go near a TT bike for general road riding. I would only buy a TT bike for doing TTs.

40-50miles on road rides; the other 40-50 a week are trails and tracks.

I was reading about the frame geometry of a Triathlon bike using different muscle groups and being easier to ride long distances but there's conflicting information on the net

If tt bikes were suited to long distance why don't the pro's use them for anything more than time trialling?

Went out for a ride on the new steed this evening First time back in the saddle in far too long but at least this bike is far more capable than my old jump bike!

apparently you're not allowed aerobars in competition as they don't give adequate steerage in a pack
