Bramble is such an underated player.. He can play brilliant for 89 minutes, then he either rapes some one or drops a bollock...
I will clap him if he ever returns for another team

This. They would be far better than going to somewhere like Hull!

he's on a par with Szcz (on a good day, admittedly) but is no improvement for us
Adler or Cesar for me (would prefer Adler as a longer term option but he will go for Cesar)

Arsenals GK merry go round really confuses me It's so hard to keep track of who's good and who's shit.

Szcz is an excellent keeper but he has been erratic and is still VERY young in GK terms, he needs some real competition to grow
Fabianski was excellent in that short spell but is injury and confidence plagued. The say he trains like the best keeper in the world (genuinely) but he is not far off 30, he needs to leave and establish himself somewhere
Mannone is OK but not good enough
Wenger will go for Cesar as #1 but as an older more experienced head who can help guide Szcz so that come 25, he cna be established #1 again then he will promote Emi Martinez as #3 with numerous young options as emergency cover
IMO

They've all been both at some stage I'm sure

Betting suspended on Higuain.
Maybe Arsenal are going to sign someone after all - I still didn't believe that Wenger was going to spend despite all that has been said about their finances, same thing every year and nothing ever happened

Higuain is quality! Would be a seriously awesome signing for Arsenal assuming it goes through.
The dude finishes, you give him the chances and he'll put it away more often than not.

Indeed, he's 24/25 I think as well, for 22m he's a steal, and he'd fit in in this league, he's strong too. Will be a brilliant signing for Arsenal. Its what they've been missing for a few years now.
If it goes through...

I'm in the mindset we are signing no-one until its on Arsenal.com, so then my hopes aren't dashed.

Massive signing if it goes through and, as above, absolute steal at 22m

Good signing for arsenal and a statement of intent. Been reading they have agreed terms of £150k per week.

I personally think it will drag as I think, probably quite rioghtly, Real will want nearer £30m. He's worth it tbh, 24/25, 3 years left on current deal and a 1/3 conv rate .
Stupendous signing if it goes through. Really hope we get Fellaini too but £24m is very steep :S

pure wages wont top £125k p/w max IMO as that will start to alienate the other players but I reckon his effective wekkly wage (trheyll give hima huge signign on fee like they offered RVP and gave Henry) will be around £150k or so aye.
We need a big name striker to be our first signing desperately as it will be such a statement to the rest of the prem.
Think thats why we have yet to annoucne/complete the yaya sanogo deal
