I am confused as to why you need a GT35 to run 500+ when a T25 will do 400?

Out of interest what kind of figure would you be after? Must be a fair bit, surely be worth more in bits?

i really doubt the manifold and turbo set up would fit well in a nova. its close enough in the corsa. im maybe getting a nova soon. hopefully going to look at a saloon on the weekend. needs a bit of work, which is cool.

mmm not very keen on saloons, the coupe is slightly respectable.
I've always wanted to do a c20let nova with the radiator in the back with cut outs in the boot like the audi quattro group B cars , do this!!!

Looking and sounding good nic.

Bet it feels good to have it up and running again, all bolted together and balanced.

When is it going on the rollers?

within a couple of weeks hopefully. starts really well and runs not too bad considering the map hasnt been changed. johnathan just re did the tps as its now a rover one not a vauxhall one so it would see the voltages etc. fires up and runs no problems on the old map otherwise.

Or a KKK16

dependant on what trim the 30 and 35 we're, i would imagine that you could get a FWD car to get the power down a bit less savage with a 30. obviosuly dependant on the spec of the motor too and the mapping.

am no turbo expert so not trying to be a smart arse or that, was just saying wouldent it be better as IMO it may be alot easier to make "driveable" on a 30, if your jsut after balls out power figures though a 35 will do upwards of 600 horse.

depends in a way. id be on the limits of a gt30 really at 500-550bhp. whereas i can run that one at 500 and its only just getting going. engine had nearly 500bhp last time and it managed reasonably well on the roads. will be getting the mapping done so it makes it good to drive. im under no illusions it will handle like a go kart. its not what it was built for.

I see
Another thing are forged pistons actually thicker than standard? I know forged things are much stronger than cast stuff but for mega bhp won't they still have to be beefier?
